I have those senior moments also, sometimes one after another, after

That is why I wanted the SyQuest drive.
The EZ-135 I used on the 486 for backing up had a parallel port
connection.
When I broke the loading door I rendered it unusable.
I didn't think of getting a SCSI card to use this EZFlyer drive with
the 486 box, because the seller included a PCI SCSI card in the package
with the drive, so I used the drive with the XP box to grab the data
from the cartridges and put it on the HDD on the XP box, and also some
to CDs, external HDD and thumbdrives.
The cartridges I had the backups for the 486 on, I'm still trying to
decide a way to either use DOSBOX, a VM or some other way to get the
data put on CDs so I can use them on the 486 box.
May be getting a 16-bit SCSI card for the 486 might be the best bet,
then I could do my backing up as I used to do on it.

I'm using a USB3 Ext. HDD plugged in a USB 3 socket on the pc.
