You can tell if I have power by going to www.weather-station.org.  If it
responds, I have electric and my cable modem is working.  I do have several
UPS systems on my computers (1500 watt units), but they will only keep
things going for about 30-45 minutes.

My county didn't get hit very hard my the storms.  Just 20-30 miles south,
there were trees down all over the place.  Half of our wide area network
sites at my work were offline  - no power, no connection, or a combination
of both. There were people that I work with that had no power all week -
even in the 100 degree temps.

Glad we didn't have any issues in Harford County..  :)
