Agreed.

For super important data, like family photos, videos, etc, nothing beats
diversifying the backups.

I have the family videos on DVDs, converted to AVIs and copied on multiple
systems in different locations and even backed up.  I even keep a copy of
them on my work PC which is backed up in case my entire house burned down.

Yes, I'm super anal when it comes to backups.
