Could have ju MH>been the acid and crud on the terminals that helped drain the battery. That can do it. When the lead on hte battery post corrodes from the acid it becomes an insulator. Tehre is an old test I used to do to check for post corrosion. Put one probe of a Voltmeter on the battery post itslef and the other one on the cable connector adn have soemoen crank the engine and see what voltage drop yuo get. It will be very low or zero if the psot is clean and you have a good conection. MH>It was sitting all week this week. I went out to start it, and it started MH>right up. We shall see if that continues when it gets colder. --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin* Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 And Still Here.
