************************************ *** Message crossposted from ZCC *** ************************************ Dear all, Contrary to popular belief yesterday another 2 live R32 (France) nodes were ¨discovered who want to continue the Fido-way. Seems they may be getting ¨something together again. Then, this is mainly for Richard Peer, I have been contacted via email by ¨one Jim Holland from 5:7211/1 Mango (Harare, Zimbabwe) who wants to get in ¨touch with Z5C Henk Wolsink ... Apparently that nodelist segment needs updating as the sysop-information ¨does not seem to check-out. Also he mentions there is a 2:7211/3 which I do ¨not see listed. As this seems to be an active guy (supposedly running a 6 line pstn-system ¨for an ngo with, as he claims, 2000 active point-addresses [even 10% of that ¨would be nice]) I would assume this is worth looking into. Could be a real ¨boost. He is interested in mail-exchange for his users/points. I told him you would ¨be informed. If you cannot have him serviced locally then I'm going to set him up to ¨route via here. Can you look into this? Take care & enjoy the week-end, Ward --- OPMED 3.00* Origin: Many Glacier BBS / +32-3-4480880 (2:292/854) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 292/854 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
