The thread was, as per the Subj: line, that someone
wanted to replace all underlined text with italics
text. WordPerfect has no built-in method of doing
this, tho a macro can be used.
If you just replace the UndOn with ItalOn, the
UndOff disappears and you have no place to put the
ItalOff. But you can do it by (and make a macro as you
do, if desired): find the UndOn, block, find UndOff,
hit Italics, back up to the UndOff and delete it (which
deletes the UndOn also).
WordPerfect DOS 6.1, at least, ships with
MOD_ATRB.WPM which allows replacing any paired codes
with other paired codes. Maybe other versions have it,
too, I don't know.
