NB> So you might well win after all... :) Yep, neither are worth my time. The one that sticks around would be though, finding them is the trick. :-) SC>>> I just feel that isn't something you should even have as a goal SC>>> on a first date anyway. The first date should be talking and SC>>> seeing if that *spark* is there. DC>> I've been on a "no date" and set off that spark. SC>> I'm sure we all have. ;-) NB> True enough... :) Gotta make sure that the spark is truly viable, NB> though, before acting too readily on it... Save a lotta grief later, NB> usually... :) I have to tell of my experience. There was a guy who asked me out for about 3 years and I kept turning him down. I knew he was a heavy drinker at one time and had quite a reputation. One day he confronted me asking why I wouldn't go out with him. I told him the exact reason, emphasizing his drinking. He said he wouldn't drink then. We went out off and on for over a year and the only time he took a drink was when we went out for a nice dinner. I also had a glass of wine. We remained friends for a long time after we quit going out. It just wasn't meant to be, but it was fun while it lasted. Just goes to prove you shouldn't judge someone on their past. I got treated like a queen by him. Sharon ---* Origin: Shar's Wildlife (1:3613/1275.7) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 3613/1275 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
