I remember a contact I made with a Canadian Ham in the Early Spring
and He told me He has been going up to His summer home on the weekends
fixing the plumbing that got frozen over the Winter and hasn't been
able to operate on the Ham Bands until everything is repaired.
One Spring I was in Memphis, Tennessee and noticed a Lilac Bush
blooming, but when I got back to Indiana it was still cold and all the
trees were bare and so was my Lilac bushes.
While I was listening on my radio I overheard a Ham say He was from up
North and has been living in Florida about three years.
When He moved there He could get out in the Ocean in January and
February and it felt good, but now he is adjusted to the weather in
Florida and if he went in the Ocean now in Jan or Feb it was too cold
for him.
... Before they invented drawing boards, what did they go back to?
