NB> To be honest, I still don't understand why he needs to use two versions of NB> hpt (DOS and Linux) executing at different times. After IMP-MAIL processes NB> the stuff to FTN type packets, can't he just run the Linux version of hpt NB> to finish processing? Or is the DOS side doing something the Linux side NB> can't? I've since stopped using HPT on the DOS-side of things. I had originally thought it was needed, but that doesn't seem to be the case. HPT on the Linux side is good enough. Here's my script as of today (11/03/16): ------- #!/bin/bash export SDL_VIDEODRIVER=dummy dosbox -noconsole -c "mount c /" -c "c:" -c "path=c:\\home\\imp\\imp" -c "cd \\home\\imp\\imp\\" -c "imp-mail toss" -c "exit" dosbox -noconsole -c "mount c /" -c "c:" -c "path=c:\\home\\imp\\imp" -c "cd \\home\\imp\\imp\\" -c "imp-mail scan" -c "set FIDOCONFIG=c:\\home\\imp\\hpt\\config\\config" -c "hpt pack scan" -c "exit" rm /home/imp/hpt/flags/hpt.lock /home/imp/imp/pktdate -c /home/imp/hpt/pkt-out/*.pkt cd /home/imp/hpt ./hpt toss ./hpt pack scan ------ That "hpt pack scan" line seems to be needed in order to send outgoing bundles. Now, I just need to figure out when to use IMP-MAIL's "purge" command.
