| subject: | SCSI Adapter Startup |
SD> KW> God, I hated SCSI. :) SD>I've used SCSI for years under OS/2 without problems. A fear of SCSI is SD>usually coming from using it under Windows. :) SD> EV> I don't mean to cause You nightmares, but if You remember something SD> EV> about SCSI I'd be thankful for Your comments. SD>Is your adapter card reserving an additional device ID for itself? That can SD>happen sometimes. I think we have reached the reason for Ed's problem. The SCSI card asignes itself an ID and also for what ever nunber of devices it is designed to conect to. EVEN if they are not connected a Device ID is assigned as I recall --- þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin* Origin: Check Out Doc's QWK Mail Via Web BBS > DocsPlace.org (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 109/500 116/116 123/5 52 57 140 400 500 789 124/5013 5014 140/1 154/0 SEEN-BY: 154/10 701 702 203/0 226/600 227/51 101 201 229/426 230/0 249/303 SEEN-BY: 261/38 1466 280/464 5003 320/119 322/759 342/11 423/120 633/267 280 SEEN-BY: 640/384 712/620 848 770/1 3634/12 @PATH: 123/140 500 154/10 280/464 712/848 633/267 |
