One thing I don't have on my desktop is a webcam.
My laptop has one, which has a piece of black electrical tape covering
it.
I have never used the one on my phone. I use the regular camera through.
One of my tablets has a cam but when holding it my thumb or other finger
usually covers it.
On campus all public areas are covered by cameras which records
everything.
This has really came in handy if something happens or is reported to have
have happened. And the cameras cover different angles.
A car on the stadium lot was involved in a hit and run. The video was
reviewed and zoomed in to get the hitters plate number. This was also during
the night and the video was as clear as day, not that sickly green tint that
the old cameras had. Yes, the
There was a time a girl filed a report she was assaulted in the stairwell
of a dorm.
Video was reviewed and nothing there.
She later admitted she had made up the story because she was mad at the
guy. She was in trouble for filing a false police report.
The only places not under surveillance are private areas, such as
bathroom. But there are cameras that record who goes in and out.
