What exactly do you mean "HPT is doing absolutely nothing"? If
there is no packet or bundle in your inbound, invoking it manually will do
just that.. nothing. Since there is no work to be done (ie: no packet or
bundle in your inbound).

Although, when you DO invoke it manually.. try tailing your hpt.log and see
that it is indeed actually doing *something*, as in looking for a packet or
bundle in your inbound, and then when it doesn't find anything there, it
stops.

Further than that, we need actual proof that it is doing "absolutely
nothing" or some kind of error report from you.
