Hello Sean!

Unless Kevin is running the Telegard door, there is probably not a
Y2K-patched EXE for his BW door.

The only Y2K-issue in the Maximus door that I'm aware of is with QWK
packets. Uploading to the internal QWK in Maximus instead of the BlueWave
door is the easy workaround.

There are Y2K patches for Maximus and Squish, which includes updated
MSGAPI*.DLL files which are also used by the BW/Maximus door for read/write
access to the messagebases.

Even with everything up to snuff software-wise as can be on the sysop/BBS
side, and unpatched reader can still generate upload packets in BlueWave
format that will be imported by the door, written to the messagebases by
the door using the Y2K-fixed DLLs, and never leave the local board due to
Squish detecting the date as grunged and skipping it.

My solution to that one takes a pass with William McBrine's ECHOFIX util to
fix the date data in the messagebase before Squish takes a stab at scanning
the area. Cures similar issues with messages uploaded via the Silver Xpress
door for Maximus at the same time.
