You know when I first intaled that dialer it wouldn't connect at high
speed after using the modem identifier program.  

So I deleted the account and starting over never ran that interactive
dialog install that dealt with modem detection.

Just gave it the ISP PH. number, COM port /dev/ttyS0, user name and
password.

My connection speed dramatically increased.
