-> BW was originally designed for PCBoard. However, as you said, George and
-> Martin were close and the TG version was the second one out (I believe). That
-> doesn't really make a hill of beans anymore though. :(

Hi Sean..

No it really doesnt' for either or for any. It is actually lucky one
came out for TG 3.00. As Tim Changed msg areas, but then again, that
was good, never missed telemail ..

It strikes me as odd about the PCBoard thing though, as You say it does
not really matter, but I first set up Telegard in latter part of the
eighties. I think a Year or two later The TG door came out. I had to
wait quite a while before One was available for PCB. I am not sure when
I put up my PCB system, but it was probably a good 5 or six years later
and I still remember qmail had a door, for qwk, but PCB, I don't
remember one being available at first. I think PCB was one of the last
ones done. I think that door did not come out til version 4.00 and later
a bug fix of 401 or 410 or something like that. I am thinking 95'???
For fun sometime I should go in and check my PCB reg for the bw door
and see when I got it. for nostalgias sake.. But maybe the next time I
run accross my old PCb backup.. It's really unimportant. Glad as many
got out as they did before BW shut down. I wish there was one for
Synchronet sysops, and or Wildcat ones too. But I think as we talked
about. It's great for those of us who liked it, and were like raised on
it, but there are also a lot ( I really shouldn't say a lot Thats
relative ) I guess I should say there are others who don't know about it
and could care less. Obviously had George continued, it would be popular
just by the sheer fact it is good and would be more available as far as
getting reg's and possibly new doors for the majority of systems being
run in this day.

Take care,
Mike
