MA>You can't hold Linspire responsible for your love life. :-}

WHY NOT. :-)

MA> TW> IN a true Easy Instal that should NOT BE NECESSARY. Aren't you
MA> TW> listening at all or are you just Shooting off your Mouth.

MA>Even Windows will ask for the driver if it can't identify the
MA>manufacturer of the modem. Computer programmers don't lay awake at night
MA>worrying about some bad tempered old git who is to lazy to set up his
MA>hardware.

You are STILL MISSING the Point. "EAZY" install is NOT DOING ANY COMMAND
LINE floling arround. IF it can be done by Some why not ALL.
Particualrly those BRAGGING about "EASY" Install.

 Since you mentioned Windows Asking for a Driver
WHY didn't LINUX ask the same question when it didn't Linspire recognize
the modem instead of pretending things were alright and then not
working?
