-> Set s46 = 136 (or 138 if you wish compression also).  The best init
-> string is ATZ, any other slowly uses up all the writes to the modem's

        Thanks Bill but I have found out that my modem will only use
it error correction if I have a Comm program that supports RPI.  Do you
know of any good ones that do?  I have COMit for dos but I don't really
like it....
