I've had cooked wheat, in a commercial mix called "Kashi". Kashi has
7 (or maybe more) different grains in it, including sesame seeds, which
are really good cooked! The birds really have to fight me for their
share.  I'll have to try the wheat alone--it just never occurred to
me to cook it because I like it so much sprouted!
