In my experience, the ones usually wanting to assign blame are the ones
that can't accept it very gracefully. I think I've said all I can on this
but just to clarify my position, I am all for learning and I do believe we
learn from our mistakes. The part I object to is the monday morning status
meeting turning into a donkey BBQ. It serves no additional purpose to point
out someones mistakes in that environment, unless you're trying to get
someone fired. The type of learning you guys are proposing can be adequatly
handled peer to peer amongst the development team.
