Hi Hamish, > p.s so what does the REN stand for/mean? HM>Ringer equivalence number. It's a measure of how many standard HM>telephones a device is in terms of load on the line. Maximum allowed on HM>a line is 3, which means 3 telephones usually. (Okay I admit I have five HM>and an answering machine :-) So with an REN of 0.3, I can put 10 Supras HM>on the same line and still be ok. :-) greaaaaatttt, so if one stuffs up you have a couple of backups to take over without any delay, right :-) cya later, Paul. ...
