No on the battery backup. Tho I do run a Belkin SurgeMaster F5C140. Its 
been on the system since I set this all up. Its either a setting in IE 6.0 
or my Firewall, I run ZoneAlarm Pro. Tho since I have turned it off. It 
didn't have an effect on the downloads from Microsoft Updates....
