The press doesn't have to love Bush or Cheney. After 6-12 months in office,
most incumbents are snarled at. One can negate some of the media's vivid
imagination by being open with facts early and not doing what happened
today. Cheney's people even made McClellan look bad today. He admitted he
wouldn't have made a joke about Whittington if he had been alerted to the
events (  'heart attack' ) .  Plus when did you ever hear anyone who had a
pellet wound to the heart be described as a person who suffered a minor
heart attack?  - GMAB
