Development is a good thing.  Its a public use, just ask all the liberal
big government justices on the Supreme Court.  So Bush is making a public
use of this land by selling it to private developers.

Seriously, I think a lot more federal land should be returned to private
hands.  The federal government stole way too much land from the states,
especially in the southwest and west of the Mississippi, in exchange for
admission into the union, imho.
