Where do you get these facts about the Native Indians, if it is true its due 
to the white man.  
 Just not so.  "It" is due to the fact that they lack the alcohol 
dehydrogenase enzymes in sufficient quantity to metabolize alcohol properly.  
Those cultures which have had alcohol for any length of time have adapted to 
its use.  The Orientals and Mediterainian races both have a good tolerance 
for alcohol due to length of use.
