Maybe you're not getting Adam's point.

The US should have gone through the proper legal channels to request
extradition of the suspects, so they could be allowed due process before an
internationally-recognised legal system.

Hmmm. Maybe that's not going to work, so I guess Adam is saying the US
should just pass a few motions, like the Europeans would like to do.
