the funny thing is that these guys are faulted for saying these things when it
really mostly comes down to their PR and speech writer people not knowing
history and/or not fact checking the statements before they start training the
politician on saying it...

the there're those that go off-script all the time and continually eat their
feet with no backup/patsy to fault for feeding them the wrong information ;)
