I'm the opposite. I have no desire for novels or fiction in general. I
do read a few fiction books though, such as Mark Twain stories. But even
those have some real life basis.
I read to be entertained as well as learn something new.
I enjoy reading .pdf's of out-of-print books and have many on CDs and
read on a tablet. Not the same as holding a real book in my hands, turning the
page, etc. But this is the only way for many books I read. I get most of
them from http://www.archive.org
I am particularly taken with history.
