Maybe, maybe not.  I don't trust that number, and suspect it includes
incentives to oil companies.  Besides we spend that much every two months
in Iraq.

Every dollar we don't spend on crude oil and derivatives is a dollar less
for radical Muslims to use to foment jihad.   We should be
spending at least as much to encourage alternatives to crude oil as we are
spending to install an anti-American fundamentalist government in Iraq.
