Hello Gerald.

GM> Ahhhh. I went to that site, looking for AVP that will run on a
GM> 'pure' DOS boxen and the only thing that was able to download was a
 GM> 14MB+ file for a Windoooz system....

GM> Anyone have a URL for AVP on a DOS only system?

Not AVP but F-Prot (www.f-prot.com OR www.complex.is). The DOS version is
free. You can also d/l it from my system in the 1.A-V file area. Updates to
the definitions too.

Also, AVG (www.grisoft.com) has an excellent free windoze system that
incorporates a DOS command line scanner. But that might be a bit cumbersome to
manipulate as it *is* a windose install program.

BBS URL: telnet://bbs.sursum-corda.com
FTP : ftp://ftp.sursum-corda.com
Tel : 1-504-897-6006

Best regards,
Marc
