I think they have. It's a bit like in the mid 80'es going "imagine if
someone had made an aircraft nearly invisible on Radar".
Take the whole FOAS ("Future Offensive Air System") thingy.
Running along smoothly as a replacement for the tornado etc.
Suddenly bang...ummm...no need....let's look at chucking drones out of the
back of a C17....
Remember, you've already accepted that the flying & sensors parts are
solidly computerised today. Why would the tactical etc stuff need to leave
the rack of blades in which it's constantly running simulations?
