Did you at least look at the drive in Disk Management ?

Does it pass CHKDSK ?

The Macrium CD has a menu with a "boot repair" item,
as well as its own File Explorer like tool, and a Command Prompt.
You can do quite a bit in there, before switching to another
environment entirely.
