     Hi Blake,
BB> Now, that is enough to scare someone off right there!
GH> Can you explain why ? (or how!)...
BB:I have a express distaste for MX-COM products. They seem to me to
BB:be poor quality, poorly engineered, and high priced.
That's interesting and can be useful to know for futures buys.
My only experiences here with MX-COM chips, were with the MX-335, an
CTCSS encoder/decoder removed from a dead commercial UHF transceiver.
I rewired this chip on a small perf board and now i'm using it with my
scanner. It perform very nicely and i didn't had any troubles at all
with it. That's my only experience with MX....
