subject: date format

My Quicken (WinQuicken 4.0) always goes to the default date format of
DD/MM/YY. I want to use the other alternative: MM/DD/YY or actually
would prefer even more YY/MM/DD format which is not offered but my
Windows is set up.
Each time I open Quicken, I have to go to Option and change the setting
to MM/DD/YY for both register and checks. Is there a way to put a line
in the ini file to obtain the date format I want?
Peter
