Ok, I didn't realize there was a path setting in irex for the mailer type (oh, 
and I also switched to binkley since fd didn't show an outbound directory in 
that configuration area), I had only seen the queue and holding directories.  
I've got irex and fastecho now set up as you suggested and we'll see if it 
works.  Thanks!

Thanks to Mark too, I was just confused and didn't know what to set where.  On 
the 2 years without working, that's because I switched to fmail and didn't try 
to get any help.

I'll keep you guys up to date and if I continue to have issues, I'll try to 
explain them a little better.
