I can believe that, there's a whole helluva a lot of shit going down on an
hourly basis and has been for years now there's no way (nor should he need
be) Bush can be aware of intimate details of everything.

If anything, his underlings failed him by not realizing how stupid this
deal comes across the average American (and I say that, as I already have,
in how it looks and how it makes us feel, vs. any real merits the deal
might have). Had they come out with bullet points on why it was good up
front, I think they'd still have failed to convince me or you, but it
wouldn't have been as spectacular a failure.
