well clamav is not a firewall, basicly just a signature database with tools
to use in server on access and email scanning, keep the dust outside of
filesystem and mail will keep it safe

why would windows users need both av and firewall, hnn ;)

yep here i keep away from firewall programs, since it need to be a server
before it makes sense, and doing a nmap 192.168.0.100 makes more sense from
linux then have a firewall for no needs :=)

btw clamav team also do create IDS with makes stronger intrudeition
detection then other av does imho

for email i keep html attachments out of my inbox, and zipped screen savers, no go
