Hi Rick! Thanks for writing!  They sure don't make this thing easy for 
beginers, this is the third time I've tried to write!
        Well, in response to your question, I still have a fare bit to do 
before I get my Chief Scout.  I still need all of gold citizen, and 
conservation, along with one 25km hike.  On top of that I need the other 
specific requirements for the Chif Scout, like talking to another member of a 
non profit organisation, and discus ways of improving the community.  I need 
to complete all this before the end of September (I think).  I hope I can do 
it!  The pen-pal part is the citizen badge.  I thank you again for writing to 
me to help complete this.
        So, your trying to get a Sea Scouts group organized.  I bid you good 
luck.  Beig one of the first members in my scout group, I know it's very 
difficult to get a group up and off the ground.  
        Well their telling me I don't have much time left, so I'll sign off
