The DORINFOx.def file is a text file. You can open it and read it just
about anyway you want.
Here is the makeup of a .def file, and a copy of one from a BBS I use to
develop Door programs.
You can do something like;
'===========================================
OPTION BASE 1
DIM a(12) AS STRING
dropfile$ = "dorinfo1.def"
ff% = FREEFILE
OPEN dropfile$ FOR INPUT AS ff%
i = 1
DO WHILE NOT EOF(ff%)
  LINE INPUT #ff%, a(i)
  i = i + 1
LOOP
CLOSE ff%
 'You now have the drop file in the array. So...print it to screen.
FOR i = 1 TO 12
  PRINT a(i)
NEXT
DO WHILE INKEY$ = "": LOOP
'=========================================
