there is code in SIO that prevents two systems with the same registration
from talking to each other... that's the only gotcha which he had forgotten
about until i reminded him about it... there's also some talk of possibly
getting the sources out but they have to be extracted from their
environment once they are pulled off the tape(s) (IIRC)...
