I have a friend in WA (Rachel Cammack) who used to have a BBS in Tumwater
called the Little Red Schoolhome, but she quit being a sysop over a year ago
(she also used to help Cindy moderate this echo).  I visited her in her new
home in Shelton when I was in WA last month -- she's still homeschooling but
I think is more connected to Internet than FidoNet these days.  As I recall
she didn't get much support for her BBS when it was mainly homeschool related
so she changed the name back to The Fireside not long before she shut it down
(after almost ten years).
Anyhow, I haven't told my homeschool group about my BBS yet.  I'm waiting to 
discuss it with the advisor first.
