My partner was interviewing a five year old girl once while I monitored
and recorded the interview from an adjoining room. The little girl
referred to her vagina as a "snipper-snapper". I was attempting to
re-hinge my lower jaw while my partner was learning that it was the
girl's mother who taught her to use that word for her vagina.

Perpetuating a foolishness doesn't make you less of a fool, whether or
not you started it.

What makes you think it's just men? Many women I know think TVM is the
stupidest thing they've ever heard of--and these are women used to
hearing stupid things from feminists.

I think "dickdork" is original to you--I don't believe I've ever heard
that before. :) And that always struck me as a repititious term,
kind of like "househome".

I guess I don't see the need for *any* of it in big neon signs.

Except, according to this article, the sign just said "Vagina".

Uh-huh. lol

They're wasting their money. However, the apparent difference between
them and the vagina warriors running around doing the equivalent of
shouting "pee-pee!" and "ca-ca!" because they mistake
offending and
shocking people with empowering themselves is that those men are
reading their magazines in private. As are the women reading Playgirl.

My mother used to use the "If everyone jumped off a bridge..." line
with me. Didn't yours use it with you?

Nor do I, which means you didn't read what I was saying.

Positive benefits? Or pedophilia?

Not anymore. I had to stop years ago. However, I will admit that,
during these debates, there are times when doing a bowl or two doesn't
seem like such a bad idea. ;)
