You will probably find that you will have plenty to do both. But first time
mirror makers are not as efficient in grit use. You may use up the coarse
grit but less likely to need more on the finer grades. I would say you will
need no more than comes with the kit. If you have an experienced grinder to
advise you on technique, all the better. The one concern might be to get
enough pitch for one more lap. You may be able to finish both with the kit
pitch but after polishing two glasses the first lap may be worn out when
you get to figuring. I would polish both first and then figure one at a
time. Trying to figure both at the same time and especially on the same lap
would not be a good idea in my opinion. After figuring the first, if the
lap is still ok then figure the second.

I'm almost ready to try my first glass pushing experience and had a
question for you W-B customers. Do they provide you with enough grit to do
two mirrors? I want to do a 6" binocular scope and I know they supply
2 pyrex blanks, but will I need another "grit only" kit?

Thanks,
