Finally the real goods!
I *just* got my USET Newsletter today (and gosh I feel sorry for the travel
agent advertising travel packages in there).
The USET's web site is at
http://www.uset.com
Also, Beneficial National Bank is running a pay-per-call phone line which is
updated twice daily (it will run through August 4th). Calls cost $1.00 per
minute with a two-minute maximum per call. It's 1-900-454-USET. Funds will
help benefit the USET and its Olympic effort.
The 'Guide to the Olympic Games' section lists the team members:
Three-Day Eventing:
Bruce Davidson and Heydey (team)
Jill Hennenberg and Nirvana II (team)
Kerry Millikin and Out and About (individual)
Dorothy Trapp and Molokai (individual)
David O'Connor and Custom Made (team and individual)
Karen Lende O'Connor and Biko (team and 'replacement athlete)
Mara Depuy and Hopper (replacement athlete)
Mimi Osborn and Penny Lane (replacement athlete
Dressage:
Robert Dover and Metallic
Michelle Gibson and Peron
Steffen Peters and Udon
Guenter Seidel and Graf George
Kathleen Raine and Avontuur (alternate)
Show Jumping:
Leslie Burr Howard and Extreme
Anne Kursinski and Eros
Peter Leone and Legato
Michael Matz and Rhum IV
Tim Grubb and Caras J (alternate)
Schedule of Remaining Events:
July 31 8:30 AM Grand Prix Special (Dressage)
Aug 1 8:30 AM Team Competition (Show Jumping)
Aug 3 9:00 AM Kur to music (Dressage)
Aug 4 10:00 AM Individual Competition (Show Jumping)
Best trivia in issue: pictures of Bruce Davidson and Robert Dover as part of
the Olympic torch relay (in New Jersey and Delaware).
Worst presentation: the 'US Olympic History' page lists results going back
to 1912 in Stockholm through Barcelona in 1992, but only lists medal-winners.
 For shame!
Hope this info helps.
