Well I think it's a shame about the courtesy, but thanks for explaining
the reasoning to me. It seems like if I saw some guy with a broken leg
I'd be happy to give my seat up to him, because he needed it, and it
would just be a simple human gesture of compassion, based on disparity
of need. As far as the harsh thing goes, I'm way past that, I've been
innoculated with soc.men now I think, but thanks too for reminding me
of that, I did have some major problems with the language used here
when I first arrived. GA called my 3 year old nasty names in another
thread and it didn't raise my ire at all, just made me wonder why a
toddler would be a target for that kind of bile.
