Like Chuck, I use the half way point between the lightest and heaviest eyepiece as the balance point. Large bearings help, as they increase the friction without compromising smooth operation. In your case I would use a bearing diameter of 1.6-1.9x mirror diameter, if you can.. If it will still tip with the 20 mm Nagler, well let's attach in this cases a counterweight at the back.
