When the Iran-Iraq war came along the Iranian nation on the whole fought as one. Being attacked by an external force often has that effect (e.g. the US before & after 9-11). As such frankly your opinion wrt the disunity of Iran is no different than my opinion wrt the disunity of the USA. So : (A) Yes I can rebut that given an external threat/attack & (B) I never suggested that you hold the opinion that the USA is disunited as that would run counter to the official position of the US. That opinion (backed up by many polls & facts) is mine. I am curious how you can take my statement "It would appear America is even less united esp wrt another foreign adventure." & somehow turn that into "Again you are attempting to attach an opinion to me that I never put forth." Simply by replying I am attaching an opinion to you? My, my, is that a sensitive spot?
