Good. So why state that somehow it is? If Iran were to be attacked then
there'd be a unified national response just as one would expect from most
countries in the world.

I would state that neither is more disjointed than the other. Certainly not
when facing an external attack. Persia has been persia for thousands of
years. Yes there are Baluch, Kurds, Turkic types etc. ? There are latino
Americans, black americans, russian americans etc.

I never suggested anything else.
BTW to return to the subject of the original post it is nice to see you
