A flash or reflash may not always hit each and every register or every piece 
of capableability of the modem, it just does what's needed. If your going 
older to newer code or vica versa, then it has to know it, in order not to 
leave *undesirable* data bits left over, basically don't 2nd guess the 
instructions if that's the method for a proper flashing, take them at thier 
word, unless proved otherwise. 8') -_-_-Bill
