Welp,
It's become time to admit that a set of speakers have gone beyond their
useful life anymore and time to purchase a replacement pair.  I'm
currently in an apartment,  so cannot turn the volume up high - making
some speaker vendors (Advent,  Bose) not a good buy;  I need a speaker
which will sound good at all volume levels (read:one which won't annoy
the neighbors).  While I could spend virtually any amount on speakers,
I'd also like to keep the cost under $500.
I own a set of JBL 940T's and am happy with them;  alas,  this receiver
the new speakers will be used with will only tolerate 8ohm speakers
well,  so I'd like to keep the new speakers to 8ohm and deal with
upgrading the amplifier at a later time.
Any suggestions?
