SemWare is currently beta testing a unique console-mode version of The
SemWare Editor Professional for Windows 95 and Windows NT.  This version
has the same look and feel as the DOS version of TSE Pro, but has been
converted to a native 32-bit application that runs under Windows 95 and
Windows NT.
This new product - TSE Pro/32 (Console Mode) - allows you to take
advantage of Windows 95/NT features that are not available in the DOS
version of TSE Pro.  With TSE Pro/32 (Console Mode), you can:
  - Create.and.edit.files.with.long.filenames
  - Edit even larger files
  - Access the native Windows 95/NT Clipboard for cutting/pasting text
  - Manage files within PickLists (sort, delete, load, change drives)
  - Resize your screen to whatever columns/rows Windows allows
  - Edit longer line lengths (up to 8K)
  - Launch TSE Pro/32 either from the command line without creating
    another window, or from an icon on the Windows desktop or Start
    menu.
  - Extend TSE Pro/32 using not only the editor's own _powerful_ (yet
    simple-to-use) macro programming language, but also using DLLs.
    Write your own DLLs for a unique task, or use one of hundreds
    already written.
  - Easily upgrade from the DOS version of TSE Pro.  The user interface
    is the same and source code for most macros is portable between the
    two versions.
And because it is a 32-bit console-mode program, this version will be
especially useful to the serious Windows programmer, offering program
development from the command-line - allowing you to write program code
more quickly and easily.
TSE Pro/32 (Console Mode) is anticipated for release later this summer.
